The second issue of the Journal of “Turkology” in 2016 will soon be published

The second issue in 2016 of the Journal of “Turkology” – the Body of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (NASA) will be published soon.
In this issue of the journal there are papers of scientists from Russia, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Germany and Azerbaijan in the Azerbaijani, Russian, English and Turkish languages. Readers will get acquainted with very remarkable scientific patterns concerning Linguistics, Folklore, History and some other scientific fields.
According to the Decision by the Presidium of NASA this journal already covers a wider range of fields of sciences. In this issue of the International journal there are theoretical papers in the rubrics “Turkological Heritage”, “Linguistics”, ”Literature and Folklore”, “Philosophy and History”, “Written Monuments”. At the same time the papers collected in the sections “The 90th Anniversary of the First Turkological Congress”, “ The 200th Anniversary of the Presentation of “The Book of Dada Gorgud” to the world science”, “Turkological Centers”, “Scientific Life”, “Personalia”, “Obituaries” will raise all the readers’ interest.
The aim of this International Scientific journal is to continue the traditions of the journal ”Sovetskaya Turkologiya” and to make Turkology interesting not only for turkologists, but also for the specialists of the other fields of science.

ur periodical will firmly continue the scientific and cultural traditions of the journal “Soviet turkology” which once enjoyed a wide popularity with the territory of former Soviet Union and international arena as well. In different times this journal was headed by distinguished scientists, such as, M. Shiraliyev, E.R.Tenishev, A.Akhundov and T.Hajiyev who did their best for it. Today by the requirements of globalization epoch the scientific space of the journal needs to be expanded furthermore. And it can’t be limited within the frame of the materials referring only Turkological linguistics and folklore. Besides Turkological linguistics, its readers are eager to see in it materials on ethnography, philosophy, history, literature, culture studies as well.
